One cheap concert...

...or one pricey toilet
I'm not quite sure which it was. At the tram stop by the Vienna Opera House, there was a sign advertising a unique bathroom experience. Nowhere else in the world could you utilize the facilities while enjoying Mozart's masterpieces. You paid for this pleasure, however. 0.60 Euro, but you got a clean bathroom and a concert to boot. Can't beat that.

Vienna
We arrived at 6 a.m. from Krakow. After stashing our bags and buying a pass for the bus/tram/metro, we made our way into the city. We rode the tram around, and since we missed our intended stop, saw a little more of Vienna than we planned. We made our way back to the above mentioned Opera stop where we walked around the Opera House and to a monument commemorating the victims of all wars.
We jumped onto a different tram that looped us around the city center, letting us see many sights from the comfort of a warm vehicle. The architecture is amazingly beautiful. Ornate, but not too much.
When we finished our loop, we got off and walked up a pedestrian street full of strollers, shoppers, and Mozart's handing out concert advertisements. We visited the St. Stephen's church which is said to be the center of Vienna and their most loved church. It was enormous!

We were going to visit a palace, but decided to skip it and get to our hotel. I was ready for some warm comfort and privacy (hostels aren't so good for that), so we made our way back to the train station and arrived just in time to hop on the train for Budapest. Three hours later, we were there...

Andrea! I am so jealous! I absolutely LOVE Europe. This is the same time of year that I went many many moons ago, and it was freezing for me too. Are you heading to Rome? It was warm down there. Have such a great time!
